Gong Xi Fa Cai means congratulation and wishing everyone respectfully with joy, to be wealthy and prosperous in the coming year.

I was in the Waterfront Hotel Cebu City, when I captured these photos. Here in the Philippines we respect spiritual matters thus make it as our holiday.

Traditionally, Chinese people celebrate New Year for a week-long holiday. They mostly have family-gettogether, prepare New Year's food , hang couplets on the door and wear red clothes which represents good luck.

People prepare food for the event, decorating the areas of their house. Not only you can find these in the hotels but also in the malls, streets, Chinese restaurants etc.,

Philippines is an open country where we welcome whatever country or nationality you are. Here in the Philippines we are family. :)

To end my day, here's a bottle of wine saying CHEERS TO GOOD LIFE!
