The old water tower
There is one old abandoned factory in Khabarovsk.Built as early as the end of the 19th century as a defense enterprise for the repair of artillery and other military weapons, that produced both military and civilian products during the Soviet period, became bankrupt at the beginning of this century and is now sold piece by piece as real estate.For example, in the building of a former local garrison church, there is now some sort of semi-working bakery.
But the real citadel from the past is the water tower, miraculously preserved without any significant changes.
The quality of the bricks produced and the masonry executed raises admiration after a century.
