Rumoh Aceh or Acehnese Traditional House is a elevated house type. Like other traditional house in many places, it has own philosophy behind it's architectural concept.

Today, it is difficult to find this traditional houses in most cities in Aceh province. But eventhough we still can find them in the villages in Aceh.

Luckily, the philosophy of architectural concept from Acehnese traditional house still adopted in many buildings in Aceh such as famous Aceh Tsunami Museum, government offices building, etc.
