Moon orchid (Phalaenopsis amabilis) or puspa charm is one of the national flower of Indonesia. First discovered by a Dutch botanist, Dr. C.L. Blume.

This orchid plant is widespread from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Papua, to Australia. the epiphytic way of life by sticking to tree trunks or branches in the forests and thriving up to 600 meters above sea level
