Tons of freedom of expression there and individuality when it comes to style. One thing that is very refreshing about Tokyo. And it's all part of it. Like you said, it may not be so easy to get away with it in other places. Or perhaps it would just stand out more. Same here in Korea. Travel to Japan always brings a fresh sight for the senses with all the different colors and personalities :) nice one.
