Those were shot in our orchard one winter day. I went there after we had some first snowfall the night before. It is amazing how suddenly blast of low temperatures changes things. Just a few days earlier I was in the very same spot shooting some last apples on trees, yellow leaves, mushrooms and little wild violets that bloomed under the trees.
Few days and it all got covered with a thin layer of snow that slowly melted and some small parts froze again. The last apples and leaves fell from the trees and mushrooms died. But it was so pretty to see the yellow leaves (I think this one was a pear leaf) still poking out from between the white
The Violets were still there. The very warm fall got them all confused and they desided to bloom. Little clumps here and there with few blossoms on. Not as many flowers as in spring, which is their normal blooming time, but still. Not normal at all. Was nice to see them though.
And yes, I put him there :p

Something happened here this year, in early November. Some trees in the neighbourhood were still green and flowers were still blooming. There are gorgeous shots Ewka; I love the sparkle and bokeh 😊
So gorgeous with the purple flower in the white blistering snow 😍❄️🎄💕
Yeaa, pity they didn't last long under the snow anymore...
I have picked your post for my daily voting initiative! Keep it up and Steem on!
