Apparently there are two types of Heather (as I call them all). One that bloom in the fall and one that blooms in spring. And the spring one is called Erica. Both belong to Ericaceae family, but apparently they are so different.
Erica umbellata
Some month back as I was shooting the autumn one I tried to google what is the difference between them. Besides the blooming time. Now that I can really take a closer look I see that the flowers have different shape too.
I was lucky enough to see a few bushes of those pretty pink ones in the same spot I shot the autumn ones. But looks like the autumn is way more invasive, it the spot fits them more. It was everywhere, which this little Erica just here and there.
Messy, messy, messy. It was hard to get to that one.

How interesting. I learned some new info about Heather. It grows here only on the north, at least I met it there, but luck wasn't on my side and I didn't see the blooming.
