Larkspur after hours
There she is again, you might think. With her dead flowers mania.
Well I can't help it! They photograph so well.

This is a dry *Larkspur flower that bloomed last summer. I cut a few of them to put in a vase and they just decayed so nicely. Originally very intensive navy blue now faded to this lovely lavender.

I only post my own photos.

Nice capture!
Thanks!
Dried flowers can be beautiful also! 😃
Oh of course! Just have to wait for the right moment before they fall apart completely :p
Haha @ewkaw, that's true! You have inspired me, I think I'll take some pictures of my Christmas Cactus and it's dried flowers! :)
Yayyy! :D #drystuff rocks!
My one is still blooming by the way..
Wow. I never thought dead flower photography is a thing. Great capture as always. Nice and sharp images.
I don't know if it is a thing. I just really enjoy it :)
Thank you!
And its not pink!
You want pink? Just for you.... Pink_Flower_Saturday :D :D :D
Noooo!!!

Too late :D I got a cute pinky for you!
omg you killed the flower :)
Shush you!
It died on its own :p
wow great! did you shoot the photos in a studio? i wonder how you got the black background.
The studio is my kitchen table :)
Its the contrast between sunny spot where I keep the flower and the shadow behind. Then I just tweak it a bit more in Photoshop and it comes up completely black.
got it :D
first one i like the most :)
Thanks :) I like it too.
