I have a snail...
Like if the gorse bush (Ulex) needed some extra protection. The amount of really sharp, stiff thorns on those thin twigs is astonishing! You just cannot pass by unharmed. Trust me on that one!
It is also a terrible weed that gets cut out when someone has a chance to. Especially if it grows on some green areas near people's houses or playgrounds. Really nasty thing.
Of course I like it! Cause it is tough, it will not take crap and it will turn into a cloud of yellow flowers in spring surrounded by happy bees and other insects.
Those photos were shot in the middle of winter, so no flowers...
But how in a world that snail got there so high?
