This happens when you have stinky plants blooming on your balcony. Lots of those and other size flies come in hope for some rotten meat.
At least this one is kind of pretty. Has stripes and pretty, big eyes.

This is the plant they desire...
Or at least that's what they think. Because it really stinks like a rotten animal flesh. mmmhmm yum!
