Deflated baloon

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

The Kalanchoe flower season is over. The plant was blooming so lovely and for such a long time that it fully deserved a rest. I am just wondering what to do with it. Remove just the flower stems? Cut the whole thing back and let it grow all over again? Leave it?
I think it will also drop all the leaves soon so cut it really low would make sense...

Any advice anyone? It is Kalanchole Lucky Bells.
First it looks gorgeous like this:

And now it's like an old balloon.

idk why

but i always get sad when i see a dying flower :(

I dunno why neither :)

If in my opinion, you just cut it all out and let it grow new again, it will look more beautiful if it grows a new one.

I think I will do that. The long sticks will not look nice.
Thanks :)

Remarkable my dear. Wonderful flowers grow around you :)) Greetings and a lot of love :)

They better grow and bloom! Otherwise I swap them to the one that will :P

Congratz, your post has been resteemed and, who knows, will maybe appear in the next edition of the #dailyspotlights (Click on my face if you want to know more about me...)

That is a beautiful flower, I have never seen that one before. It is sad when they finish, hopefully it comes back next season for you.

I hope it does :) They look so amazing!
