| Not quite a peanut if you see those nasty thorns, but he is just so cute! Yea, I say that about all my tiny cacti. Can't help it. Just recently it started to grow new thorns and look how amazing they are! Fresh, big and red! Gonna be bigger than the old ones I bed. And it is a good sign. It is definitely not a dangerous type as the spines will eventually go quite flat along the body. They way they form reminds of a starfish. Pretty thing. Plus it look like a fatty little, green Michelin baby. | No może nie do końca mały orzeszek biorąc pod uwagę wredne ciernie, ale czyż nie jest uroczy? Ja wiem, że ja tak o wszystkich moch kaktusach gadam. Nic nie poradze. Całkiem niedawno zaczął produkować nowe, okazałe ciernie. Świetnie wyglądają takie duże i czerwone świeżynki. Zdecydowanie będą większe od poprzednich, a to dobry znak. Nie jest to kaktus z tych niebezpiecznych. Ciernie dosyć płasko przylegają do ciałka i kszywdy nie robią. Przypominają mi rozgwiazdy swoim kształtem. Do wygląda jak mały zielony stworek Michelin. |

| Those cacti can be found in Mexico in semi desert areas. I likes full sun, but can also handle quite low temperature up to -7 degrees C. I can safely keep it on my balcony over winter then. No frosts there :) On a good winter it might even get some more sun than usually. So far so good. | Te kaktusy można znaleźć w naturze na półpustynnych terenach Meksyku. Lubią sporo słońca, ale też dzielnie znoszą dosyć niskie temperatury, nawet do -7 stopni C. Bez problemu może stać zatem całą zimę na otwartym balkonie (u mnie). Mrozów u nas nie ma i trochę słońca dostanie. Jak na razie radzi sobie dzielnie. |

| It is still a tiny baby. Maybe a hazelnut size (no, not a peanut. It was like a peanut when I received it). You can see how small it is. I planted it in one of those tiny 5 cm pots. He has lots of room to grow. And will stay there for the next few years. I just hope I don't kill it by that time :p. It will not grow any offshoots. This type hardly does. I simply have to wait for flowers and then hope I can self pollinate it to get some seeds and try to grow them this way. Maybe I will manage before I am old :p. Growing cacti from seeds is a very time consuming task! | Mój okaz to jeszcze dzieciuch wielkości orzecha laskowego (Chociaż jak go dostałam to był jak mała fasolka). Posadziłam go z takiej małej, 5cmm doniczce wie widzicie jaki to kurdupel. Ma jeszcze sporo miejsca, więc wystarczy na kilka lat, chyba, ze w miedzyczasie mi padnie :p. Ten tym raczej nie produkuje mi szczepek, wiec zeby go rozmnożyć będę musiała poczekać na kwiaty. Wtedy próbować je zapylić i przy odrobinie szczęścia doczekam się nasion. Może zdążę wyhodować jakieś w ten sposób zanim się zestarzeję. Rozmnażanie kaktusów z nasion to strasznie czasochłonne zajęcie!. |

Yeaaa sometimes there is nothing to to choose from. Sometimes I would take the whole batch.
I guess I have to learn to buy one when there's plenty to choose from 🤔😜
