Urban photo sketches

Renamed the topic a little, removing the word "Vologda", because too much of this word in different posts. I want more neutrality and generalization, because I can make such pictures absolutely anywhere. And so, you can already make a list of what I'm shooting in general. These are walls with trees, trees and bushes, night courtyards with trees. There are trees everywhere!

A wall without trees looks acomposite and minimalistic.

In simple words - it looks flat.

These are the only stories that I can shoot in parallel with something else. But I often go for a walk specifically for them.

I recognize my landscape, reportage and graphic works from any number of photographs, but I do not know about these photos yet.

Often they resonate with pastel landscapes.

And suddenly in the future everything will be exactly painted, clean, tidy, and these photos will be a reflection of the era.

In the meantime, I just fix our life.

I once thought about the future of photography. And then I calmed down: a static image will be in demand for a very long time!

Video will never replace photography, just as photography has replaced painting. The latter began to occupy a purely aesthetic niche than a scientific and documentary one, as before the appearance of photography.

A woman came up and asked: - "Are you photographing our house, will they resettle it?" I replied: “No, I am photographing a ribbon on the wall.” The woman was surprised and thoughtfully looked at the wall: - And what could be beautiful about this? I replied: “These we are strange photographers!”

Hopefully someday the day will come when I will find application for these pictures.

By the way, some photos can serve as an addition to the series from the reporting about a place.

If the one pictured looks more like a landscape.
