Dry grass graphics–2

in #photography6 years ago

In last time I photographed dry grass graphics in the fall. In winter, while all the grass has not disappeared under the cover of snow, you can still find graphic plots. If in the fall these were photos in a low key, now the tone of the compositions is lighter.

Every time when shooting graphic plots, I start only from my feelings and experiences. Every time I try to see something new, my own, not relying on what I have seen before anywhere else.

Shooting such stories does not pretend to exhibition creativity. It is more like a personal warm-up, self-knowledge through photographic compositions, patterns.

A lot comes during processing, most of which is also done initially with a margin for further processing.

When shooting such scenes you need to warm up. It should take some time for me to fully engage in the work and began to see the finished frames.

Here, as well as in minimalism, it is important to achieve a balance. If the frame is closer to the landscape, the graphics will be lost. In the graphics, you need to catch some kind of rhythm, linearity or pattern. I tried to retreat from my rules and do something chaotic, but a trained brain still leads to orderliness even in chaos. Ordered chaos - so I will sometime call the next series of graphic photographic images.

In this frame, the line between graphics and minimalism. This also happens.
If minimalism is the line between common sense and emptiness, then graphics is the line between all other genres of photography.

I’m truly obsessed with this kind of minimalist photos. The snow and grass are perfect. Straight lines and white background it’s all make simple but beautiful pictures.
