Finnish Airforce 100-year Anniversary Show - part 1
Yesterday I spend all day in an aviation show with my dad. I of course had my camera on hand for most of the time, and I took way too many pictures, prob close to 1000, but after going through everything, I saved 346 of them.
I had the intention to publish a few yesterday evening, but I was so knackered after spending a hot day outside and not eating and drinking enough. Once I got home, ate and took a shower, I made the rookie mistake of "I'll close my eyes just for a little while and then start working." You can guess how that went...
But now I'm here, with planes to show!
I have been to many aviation shows during my life, but this was definitely the biggest one. Usually the planes just do a few laps and then it's all over. Now there were plains in the air for most of the day, ranging from little planes to huge fighter jets, which are my favourite. Along with the Finnish Airforce, there were guest planes from at least Sweden, Germany and USA, pretty exciting stuff. I'm not gonna name the planes in the pictures, because I know jack shit about them, but if you wanna know something in particular, I can dig out the info for you.
I'm probably going to divide the pictures into two parts, this first is of planes in the sky, and the second one of them on the ground and some people watching.

Haha, I wouldn't consider this as skyporn because there is no pretty colours in the sky, but cool things against the sky :P
Well, I don't know the clouds looks so beautiful haha and obviously the airplanes too but more the clouds and the color of the sky <3
ohh god !!! excellent combat plane sightings, very good long-distance photo shooting, requires a very powerful technique to produce the best photography to be beautifully enjoyed by the eyes.

For my recent selfie i made about 10+ shots, then I chose the one I liked most and posted it. I thought that this was already hard. But choosing what to post from 1000 photos? That seems like an impossible task.
I know I take way too many pictures, obviously not that much every day. But moving subjects plus bright day, you kinda have to take a little too many so you can filter out the blurry and over exposed.
I have the feeling that you have a new kink for sky porn 😄

What objective did you use for this pictures?
The Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 for most, the second picture is with the 18-35mm.

Pretty cool change of pace; haven't been to an airshow since my teenage years. Just remember it being really LOUD.
