Dawn to Sunrise - 5 January 2019 (Original Video/Photos)
The sky was full of clouds on this morning. I wasn't sure whether this would be a fantastic sunrise or not. But a little before sunrise the sky was full of color. Then the color faded as the sun started to appear above the horizon.

For this photo shoot I focused on the distant horizon then turned off the auto-focus and the image stabilization on my lens.
The photographs in the video cover a 24 minute time-frame. This video stitches together 120 photos starting 17 minutes before the official sunrise.

Sunrise Photographs in Sequence
Dawn: The period of the day when light begins to appear in the sky from the sun.
Sunrise: The time when you first see the sun in the morning.
To give you an idea of the when the photographs were taken I am adding a T-time. T-0 is sunrise, T-10 is 10 minutes before sunrise, and T+5 is 5 minutes after sunrise.
This is a representative sample of the photographs in the video. The photographs have not been enhanced, you are seeing what I observed on this morning.

Sunrises and sunsets give nature a completely different look. So much else that seems boring gets a very different depth. Especially as a photographer you take the time to devote yourself to the spectacle.
