Dawn to Sunrise - 10 December 2018 (Original Video/Photos)
After a late fall snowfall this sunrise greeted the new day.

For this photo shoot I focused on the distant horizon then turned off the auto-focus and the image stabilization on my lens.
The photographs in the video cover a 26 minute time-frame. This video stitches together 41 photos starting 19 minutes before the official sunrise.

Sunrise Photographs in Sequence
Dawn: The period of the day when light begins to appear in the sky from the sun.
Sunrise: The time when you first see the sun in the morning.
To give you an idea of the when the photographs were taken I am adding a T-time. T-0 is sunrise, T-10 is 10 minutes before sunrise, and T+5 is 5 minutes after sunrise.
This is a representative sample of the photographs in the video. The photographs have not been enhanced, you are seeing what I observed on this morning.

As always, I enjoy your photographs. This morning's photos are beautiful. The day looks clean, clear, smooth. To see how the orange tone gives way to yellow and the big star, seems so natural but at the same time so strange. Strange because perhaps human beings miss every dawn in our daily rush.
