The simpler it is, the bigger a smile it usually gives me.

These bubbles were no exception.

I went to the beach, 'cause my mind was heavy.

I didn't want to be approached by countless vendors, so I took precautions:

(1) I brought NO bag. Had only flip-flops, keys, smart-phone and ear buds.

(2) I had those ear buds in, and my music was LOUD.

So loud, in fact, I marveled at the fact that I had effectively created a protective bubble for myself... even with the mega-crowd from Mexico City here for a huge motorcycle event.

My "Do Not Disturb" sign may have been invisible, but nearly all of the sellers saw it, and let me be.

And now for the irony...

No sooner than I had the celebratory thought about my protective bubble -- the one I'd made with defensive tactics -- I saw one, then three, then too many to count... glossy, iridescent BUBBLES!

The first one burst on my leg, and made me howl with laughter. So unexpected! And then, cool and wet. And then, well... bubbles are just FUN. :-)

So when Mr. Bubbles saw the happy reaction he'd caused, he sweetly directed his wand toward me.

An upwind sent a big, bubbly rainbow trail of these light-hearted reminders that...

ALL IS WELL!

Beach therapy is hard to beat. (The bubbles extend over the sand, too! ::giggle::)
