Meals

When the warm season comes to an end and the beetles disappear, the bird turns to plant food - seeds of trees such as birch, oak, maple. The sickbird also goes to the feeders. Its main treat is unsalted lard, sunflower and peanut seeds.

Like her younger sister, the tits destroy forest pests. Thanks to her more powerful beak, she is able to catch large insects such as beetles and spiders. In winter and autumn, the diet is filled with the remains of grain in the fields, while rowanberries are filled with red and black fruit and hop cones.

In contrast to the blueberries, the blueberries themselves do not make stocks for the winter. However, it often steals food from the stashes of its brethren. She can also feed on scavengers.
