Duck legs can't feel the cold.

If you've ever seen a duck that roams in the snow or bathes on a cold winter day, don't worry about them!

Duck legs have no nerves or blood vessels, which means they don't feel cold.

Ducks eat rocks.

It's not because there are no other sources of food. Ducks eat gravel, small pebbles or sand. Birds are known to have no teeth, so they need rocks to rub food in their muscle stomach.

Ducks are three centuries old.

Ducks have many impressive features in their eyes. They have excellent eyesight, and since their eyes are on the sides of the head, they have a field of vision of almost 340 degrees.

These vigilant creatures are always alert, even when sleeping.

While sleeping, the group has" watchdog ducks that sleep outside the group with one eye open.

In doing so, they control which side of the brain remains awake.

The ducklings are growing up fast.

Almost immediately after hatching, the ducklings become independent shortly afterwards.

Babies are born with their eyes wide open, and they already have down feathers to keep warm.

Little ducklings usually learn to fly before they are two months old.

Cleaning helps ducks stay dry.

While they are cleaning, the ducks smear their feathers with fatty grease, which is waterproof. The bird squeezes the grease from the coccyx gland with its beak and then applies it to each feather.
