Desert-Family ( Peoplephotography by worldcapture week #47 )
We were three days in the Thar desert in India.This family lives there in a small desert village with only a few houses. There is no running water, only one well for all and the water is sparingly handled. Dishes are cleaned with sand. By the way, there is no toilet. A bit away from the houses, a screen of stones was built. After the toilet: Sand over and done ... It is a hard, privation rich life.
Wir waren drei Tage in der Wüste Thar in Indien.Diese Familie lebt dort in einem kleinen Wüstendorf mit nur wenigen Häusern. Es gibt dort kein fließendes Wasser, nur einen Brunnen für alle und mit dem Wasser wird sparsam umgegangen. Geschirr wird mit Sand gereinigt. Eine Toilette gibt es übrigens auch nicht. Ein wenig von den Häusern entfernt wurde ein Sichtschutz aus Steinen gebaut. Nach dem Toilettengang: Sand darüber und fertig...Es ist ein hartes,entbehrungsreiches Leben.
