That's some good bashing.
The other side:
Alberta is big, nearly the size of Texas. Rocky Mountains west, prairies South & East, and more wilderness than you can shake a stick at to the North. Its a rugged, but beautiful place. Banff national park is widely recognized as one the of the most beautiful parks in the world. Wood Buffalo Park is the second largest national park in the world - remote, vast...and buffalo. Alberta also has some killer bad lands, full of dinosaur bones! There are no oceans but several large rivers and lakes scatter the province. That big sky is for watching the northern lights dance! Lots to do other than drive the prairies.
