Today we would like to share an unexpected detail with you. On the way into the Cervatto we saw this church. We were passing through a highly industrial part of Italy and suddenly - out of nowhere - appeared this greek looking temple.
Of course we jumped out of the car right away and took out our drone. The church was totally abandoned and we struggled to even get close to it. So we stood on the other side of the street and let the drone explore the unknown land. The temple has two beautiful stairways. Just like taken right from the Odyssey. We were hypnotised.

The temple seemed totally out of place and forgotten by the busy world around it.

It was so difficult for us to guess how old this church might be. The plaster suggested something else than the old painting on the front. Maybe somebody attempted to restore it but ran out of money. We felt like we want to time travel back to the time when this church was full of life, babies being welcomed into the society, marriages and funerals full of dignity being held.
I know that you, fantastic Steemians, would shurely come along to our time travel!

In our fantasy all the industry in the valley disappears, the storage depots, purification plans and new development. And we imagine that the spring blows its colours onto
the area, bees are the loudest creatures around and the fresh air fills the remotest corners of your body and mind.
