Whale-less watching

A mother grey whale and her calf have been in our harbor since Valentines Day. They are sidetracked on their migration north from Mexico to Alaska. I saw several whale watching boats by the pier so I grabbed my camera and went down there hoping to catch a shot of a whale. NO LUCK! Only pelicans and seagulls. And a few humans.
