It's happening in exactly five days from now, months of planning all led to this. The greatest steemit event in Nigeria is set to happen in Ile-Ife on the 2nd and 3rd of November 2017.
The stage is set and with great planning and execution, comes great results. The team has been working tirelessly and I must admit, they have been covering lots of ground.
From the venue booking, to the accomodation and all else in between, they got everyone covered. Yesterday, the long anticipated campus invasion happened and it was a huge success. The camera crew and reporters from the Nigerian Television Authority were also present to cover it all and even featured it on the local news. I will get the disc and upload and provide on steemit soon.
1,000 flyers got exhausted, new phone numbers were obtained and interests were piqued.
Let us begin the journey of the Campus Invasion...
Some of theS.I.N. team members whom we were able to tie down and take a picture with some of the team members from NTA Ile-Ife.
The list of people present for the event were:
@hormorhk18 setting up the banner to the left, while @destinysaid and @mediahousent were busy taking care of the speaker set up. As usual I had to pause in between calls and assisting set up to take this rough shot.
@bat-junior having a brief chat with the camera man on proper shot angles and others. @bat-junior was really into steem promotion yesterday. @mimy and @jade56 personally went into all the female hostels as men are not allowed in there. We kept hearing "I need more flyers" from them.
@mediahousent manning the mic and he was actually good with it. I remember when he said "even if you don't have talent, come and you'll get talent by force." That line alone made over twelve people stop and ask questions about steemit personally from him. @destinysaid became an overnight dancing celeb as everyone he seemed to meet were dancers. @hormorhk18 even got a lady to board a bus with us just to learn more about steemit, or maybe it was just the abs, but it worked!
@steve1122 preaching the gospel of steemit to someone, I wonder how @destinysaid got into the shot, but the guy promised to join and also be in attendance at the conference too. Talk about the power of publicity.

Random shot before everyone got changed into their steemit vests and people were tidying up. @destinysaid, @mimy, @steve1122, @bat-junior were all captured in the shot. Turns out @gbenga and @jade56 were so engrossed in the publicity that the only shot I had of them were blurry and not usable.
That is the summary of yesterday and how the campus invasion went. It was a huge success and we thank God and the crew members and Lead Ent members present. The event should be aired live on facebook too!

Yesterday I attanted the steem-Lagos workshop. It was really cool meeting great guys like @oluwoleolaide, @fisteganos, @ejemai, @lucashunter, @smyle @sweetestglo-eu @jodissicus, @cwen, and moreover having live conversation with @surpassinggoogle was quite fulfilling.
I'm hoping to meet people like @maryfavour, @ogoowinner @ehiboss, @greenrun, @stellabelle if possible, @gloglo @gbenga @destinysaid at the SIN event.
