Mr EggMeister & Sam @ Rhossili Camping Oct. 2013
Hello Folks,
Yet again I've been trawling through the vast archives on my 'puter and found some images of Sam & I camping at Llangennith (Hill End Camp Site) near Rossili on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales back in late 2013.

This was a particularly poignant trip for me as it was here one evening when Sam told me he was giving up paragliding altogether. I remember laying in my sleeping bag wide awake for ages contemplating that 'raw' feeling of the loss of my flying buddy and it also put doubts as to whether I should continue also.
Still, we had taken our flying gear down to Rhossili but the weather Gods didn't favour us this particular week so it'll just be a load of scenic photos and Sam and I looking gorgeous ;)
I'd just like to point out that that isn't a double bed for Sam & I before you ask, it's too singles with a gap in between.................. you guys have got such dirty minds ;)
Walking towards Rhossili, the strong wind has blown the sand from underneath the shells.
After the long walk along the beach from the camp site, Sam & I walk up the path towards the tiny village of Rhossili.
The walk is exhausting so we always stop for a cuppa at the little cafe/shop.
Stood on the spur that leads out to the Worm's Head, looking across towards the looooong beach and the 600ft hill used for soaring by P.G. & H.G. pilots alike.
At the end of the spur looking out towards Worm's Head. At low tide you are able to walk out to it. (ankle supporting boots recommended)
After the long walk back, Sam took charge of the BBQ, we've got the sweetcorn on first (tin-foil wrapped) then we'll chuck a load of meat on shortly :)
All ready for the Sunset and awaiting the meat. A bit of bread, tomato sauce, brown sauce and English mustard sit quietly in readiness.
Feeling replete (meat sweats probably), Sam & I watch the Sun disappear behind the dunes as the coolness of evening sets in.
With the last vestiges of light, an autumnal chill descends over the Gower peninsula.
So Sam & I have a quick walk onto the beach for some late evening poses.
I hope you've enjoyed this little trip down our memory lane?
Many thanks for stopping by,
Rob & Sam.
p.s. don't forget the upcoming phenomenon ;)
