Apple tree

For a long time Apple-tree personified a family, spring and the beginning of a year.
In fairy tales and myths, Apple was a symbol of purity and eternal youth, so gold apples were stolen from the gods and given to kings.
In Greek mythology, the “apple of discord” was the cause of the Trojan War.
The eleventh feat of Hercules was to steal the golden fruits of Apple trees from the nymphs and the formidable dragon.
Old and wild Apple Trees were compared to the wise men who knew the truth.
