Daily Picture - Two sides

A wonderful walk through the forest in late summer can be so nice, but underneath the forest floor lies a darkness that is rarely seen. When I was hiking around I happened to stumble upon this view showing the duality of nature. Beautiful and scary at the same time I think. What do you guys think? Does this picture remind you of anything?
