It's been a distraction. My passion for drumming in the beginning was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I had no intension of learning how to do it, I just wanted to hear it. My passion was to let them take me the extacy playground and to share the beauty of the layered rhythms and the power of the drums. I'm convinced drumming is the cure for world peace.
If you close your eyes and listen to it, the energy derived is alluring and so very infectious. I am so glad you shared the video of it!
Do you have more of them?
I rarely have taken a photo or video of anything. I have a few bits and pieces that dancers have recorded and that I have access to but the sound quality is somewhat poor. I plan on recording playing with friends in my living room or wherever we decide to meet up and hope the I can capture a decent sound.
Practice with it before you need to record it. That way you can tell ahead of time if the sound is going to work!
My granddaughter and I recorded the two of us and it was ok. I need to hear what four to ten strong drummers sound like. I hope to be recording in the next couple of weeks. Until then I will try and find some of our old plays.
