when sun meets rain (original pics)
It has been unseasonably dry here in Belgium this spring aside from a few occasional rains.
On a recent evening, the sun was just starting to break from the clouds as it continued to rain down on my back window with evening light streaming through the palm leaves.
Beyond, the sun was setting over the tree line with a portion of my patio umbrella on the left, making for a nice abstract image.
Normally when the sun comes out like this we get a rainbow somewhere. Usually it is a half rainbow, I don't see it going across the full arc. But on this day we were treated to a full rainbow across the village.
One more bonus photo from this time last year. Another beautiful evening rain shower and emerging sun lit up the porch in a reddish glow as droplets pinged into the pavement.

It's like rain plantlets happy,
As the first snow,forest rejoicing.
When the word beats a living soul.
When look solid as basalt.
It's like snow in September on the grass.
It's like rain on asphalt!
