The ice factory (ghost town)
Crazy right... in the middle of a really hot dessert they have ice. What fascinates me the most is actually how it was made.
The outside looks like any other normal building. But what you see on the inside is truly amazing.
These are some really strange containers and if I remember correctly that is where they made the ice in. In the room next door was the butchery, where they cut the ice into blocks for the residence of the town.
This is just some of the equipment which was used to make the ice. Now these people were so smart, they had a box which this ice would go in and when it melted they collected it to use it again.
You might be wondering what this word means. Well it is ice factory, it also sounds and is very similar to the Afrikaans word for ice factory.

These kinds of ice factories had a lot of uses especially for the fishing industry as well for other food processing where they require a lot of ice @dragonslayer101
