One shot of nature; Tortoise
Flashback to the tour to Lekki Conservation Center during the end of the month of April. I was glad I was able to take a close up shot on the tortoise while feeding on the grass. The good and shocking thing to me was the way she was free with her movement; not concerned about humans around.

I think he did not want his lunch break to be interrupted by anyone, much less by a few people.
You are absolutely right there.
She's safe within her shells and probably must have gotten used to people being around her. So why go hungry by being shy lol 😂
Yeah, you're right. That has surely been her life. Infact, they (she and a male) mated right in front of us while we were there. It's their environment and I'm glad they're free in it.
wawu😂, konji na bastard . I'm grateful to God he created me human.
Wow! Nice and timely shot. Never seen one trying to eat before.
The slowest creature in all the story books I read in my youthful days but the smartest and most intelligent.
The tortoise in most African societies signifies longevity, wisdom and peace. I quite agree because wisdom comes with age, and one with wisdom is peace loving.
You... you're right about longevity. the other male tortoise was said to be over 90 years old.
Wow. Thats quite an age.
