The panorama of Jindřichův Hradec, Czech Republic. We have been visiting this small town on the road to more known Český Krumlov. It was a quite dull cloudy day. While my family was exploring the town center, I decided to make a circle and take a look at the lake nearby. I wasn't disappointed at all. The water was very calm, so it made a perfect mirror for the colorful buildings of the old town.

Jindřichův Hradec is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has approximately 22,700 inhabitants.
The first written mention of the town is in 1220. Before that, it was probably a Slavic settlement. At the end of the 12th century more people arrived. At the beginning of the 13th century a Gothic castle was built (it was gradually rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau in the 16th century). In the census following the Thirty Years' War, Jindřichův Hradec was the second largest city in the Kingdom of Bohemia. Between 1831-1935 it was the first city in the area to get electricity for lighting, in 1888 the water mill was converted to electricity.
The city castle and palace is the third largest in the country after those in Prague and Český Krumlov. It covers three ha. and contains 320 rooms. More than 10,000 works of art and a similar number of books may be found there.
Mirror mirror on the floor who's the most beautiful city in the Chech Republic? Probably it's Český Krumlov, but there are so many tourists. I prefer this small town. It's so quiet and cozy.
Yeah, a small town in a not very touristic place is the best option for me as well!

Looks like a beautiful place! I visit the Czech Republic pretty much every summer and I need to start discovering new places besides Prague, Kutna Hora and the Brutal Assault Festival (which is the reason we make the trip).
