This place was more than mystic. We stayed here for a few hours just enjoying the sounds and the sights
The water flows strong!
A small hot spring
Bigger hot spring
The Prismatic Spring
The steam rising made for an awesome set of photos
It was a fun trip. I would definitely recommend it. I chose to stay away from old faithful and most of the people this time. going to the lesser know, harder to get to spots. but I hope oyu enjoyed them I also got some shots of some animals

A MESSAGE ON MY NEAR FUTURE IDEA/GOAL..
(In the future when I get enough followers I have decided i'm going to do a steemit photographer of the week type of post, helping all the great photographers here giving out a little steem and free promotion and hopefully gaining them followers. so Follow along if you would like to hear more about it as I get all the details together, and try to find a couple people who will help support it to get it going, I will start by funding it myself. We have lots of photo challenges. but I really would like to individually highlight the great photographers of steemit! Leave a comment below and let me know if you like or dislike the idea please!?)
I had the bad luck that we had bad weather while visiting prismatic spring. Lot of steem and very cold, but still very impressive.. love the pictures. Thanks!
Stunning!
Fantastic shots! One has to wonder though, what would happen if Yellowstone erupted... :-D haha
thank you sir! If that happened.. Goodbye west coast, maybe goodbye america. possibly goodbye sun for a while haha!
:-D let's hope that doesn't happen anytime soon.
These are fantastic shots @dlr. Upped!
you always keep me astonished, these are again some wonderful, amazingly beautiful shots ;)
Some of the photos are nothing short of spectacular, but on first two you overdid sky in the post. I know it's hard to keep a measure, but please try. Anyway, your work deserves to be in the Daily Photo Selection. Congratulations!
We are planning with my husband the trip there next year. Thank you for sharing your great shots ;) upvote :)
Awesome pics! I thought it was from national geography!
thaaaank you! Im sure the shots in national geographic are much better. but if im getting anywhere close then that is great!
Definetly man! Did you also use a drone to capture some of the photos? Im a fan! Upvoted and followed
nope, all flat ground. at the opal pools there is a little walkway that sits above the ground
Wow your camera and vision is powerful!
