Fire season is upon us, be careful when your out enjoying nature. Here is a few shots of last years fires I took (photos)

They get hot fast

And can destroy hundreds or even thousands of acres in minutes..

And if you live in the western US, chances are there will be one by you this summer

They are really awesome to photograph if you can get to a good spot without getting turned around

But you probably won't get this close unless you are lucky (or very unlucky), or fire fighting

Plane drop I caught. They put rust in the water so they can tell where they have already dropped it

And this tree was struck by lightning and burned down, but it didn't catch any of the other trees and prevented a wildfire. It is one of my favorite shots. Hard to make it to a tree hit by lightning before it stops smoking. I wish I would have took time to take more photos of it.

Be sure to put your fires out, try not to cause backfire when riding machines.. and according to Smokey the Bear... Remember, only you can prevent wildfires!
