Inside my weeping willowsteemCreated with Sketch.

I have a weeping willow. I planted it 2 years ago ... it was a branch maybe 4 mm thick. Now it's a tree. As in ... 4 meters high .... trunk with a diameter of 15 cm ... So I'll have to remove it this winter. :(

So here's the lesson: Weeping willows are not normal trees, you can actually see them grow, if you don't want a huge tree, do NOT plant a weeping willow.

That being said, I like it, it's a very nice tree. The look is nice, but especially the sound is nice. Nothing beats the sound of wind in a weeping willow. Next time you see one, don't just look at it, listen to it!!

So ... here it is ... a picture taken inside my weeping willow tree.

Beauty-Full :) Thank you for sharing your Willow Tree with us @divyne. Much Love from @thereikiforest!

thank you!

Beautiful pic. Why do you have to tear it down? Is it too big for your lawn?

hehe ... yeah ... I don't actually have a lawn ... It's a very small plot of land ... very small, and the tree is getting very big! Nice tree though ... If you have the space by all means have one! Just cut a branch of another one , put it in water for a couple of weeks until it has branches .... and before you know it you have a huge tree!! :)

A magical feel to this

An amazing tree. I have a connection to Willows it very important in my life. Thank you @divyne for sharing :)

Well let me tell you something about willows ... maybe you already know it ... but ... if you have a pond or an aquarium and you haven an algae problem ... put some willow branches in it, and it will clear it up for you (they suck all nutrients out of the ware) :))

That I did not know, although yes you often see then by ponds. Now that is explained thanks @divyne
