This is my entry into the NatureMacro Steemit Photo Challenge #64. 📷

Male Hibiscus Harlequin Bug

I spotted the little fellow as I walked along the main street in Kiama, NSW Australia. He was just hanging out on a post, but his colorful markings really stood out.

The internet tells me these bugs (also called Cotton Harlequin Bugs) are a member of the Jewel Bug family. The females are mostly orange in color.
