Traveling in Vietnam Part II : At the market with friends - Original Work

in #photography7 years ago

For our second day in Vietnam we had planned to meet up with some photographer friends who were visiting from New Zealand. Their names are Tim and Nadine and they are seriously incredible photographers. I highly recommend checking out their website if you get a chance: https://www.timandnadine.com/

We met up by a big fountain near the old quarter and then went wandering around the city looking at cool stuff and finding great spots to take photos. We eventually did a little mini photoshoot with them but I will save that for another post. We took a few photos when we got to this market because it was really cool. The amount of fabric they had stacked up in the top level of this building was insane. Floor to ceiling just reams of fabric, packed in so tight a north american like me could hardly squeeze through the aisles, it was rad.

Nadine and Tim lookin awesome in Hanoi.

I just thought this window thing looked really cool.

Another view of the cool window thingy.

What you see here is about 1/50th of the actual amount of fabric in this place, it was crazy.

Stacks on stacks on stacks on stacks on stacks of fabrics!!

Well that's it for the top part of the market. Interestingly the bottom part was a food market filled with veggies, fruits and delicious pastry things! I'll post some photos of that next time as we continue adventuring around Hanoi.

As always if you enjoyed the post feel free to throw me one of those awesome up votes, you know I always appreciate them! And be sure to follow me @dexter-k on Steemit to keep up with all our adventures and see new original content all the time.

Thanks for reading!
