My trip to Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden - Guwahati - India
Dear steemians!
Today i'm gonna share my trip to the Assam State Zoo in Guwahati. It is the largest in the North East region and it is spread across 432 acre. It functions all year round and is a home to more than 895 animals, birds and reptiles and about 113 different species.
I still remember in every holidays, my parents used to take me and my cousin to the Zoo. I became very excited when i heard my family will take us to the Zoo. Trust me since ages i have not been to zoo, and was feeling like a kid to go inside and relish me childhood memories. So me and my friends decided to visit Assam State Zoo.
So, here we are at the Assam State Zoo .
We saw many animals like Tigers, Monkeys, Elephant, Rhinoceros, Wild dogs, Wolf etc etc. Many of the animals were too lazy to come out from the cages - missed them . It looks like some of the animals are not much taken care of in a healthy way. Anyways i got a few good shots of whatever is left there to shoot.
We had a great fun out there. The trip was very awesome, i was fascinated by the wildlife present there. It is a ex_situ conservation method of species which are endangered, facing so many extreme conditions to survive. If you get a chance to visit the zoo here in Assam, don't miss the chance, come and have a look at the management and fascinating wildlife at the zoo.
