Fun Adventures with Colourful Australian Birds
Hello Steemians!
These pictures were taken in Canberra's Walk in Aviary. Taking photos of birds, for me, is boring and quite tedious. Not so at the Walk in Aviary as you have plenty of opportunities to line up your shot and if you miss out another bird is just a few feet away :) Some of the birds are native to Australia but I'm not completely sure of the names due to the unusual breeding patterns. If anyone can help me in identifying them I would be extremely grateful! You get to hand feed some of the birds and they are certainly not shy as they will climb onto your shoulder without fear!

Equipment: Nikon D3300 + Nikkor 55-300 AFS
My wife trying not to have her ear chewed by the birds!

You got some great shots there. Haven't been to Canberra for 31 years but if I'm ever there again I'll have to have a look.
