Saskatchewan Sky Show - Across Canada, Day 63 of 92

After leaving Alberta I drew a beeline east. Fall was failing, the snow was falling and I still wanted to see the Atlantic provinces before the year was over, but that didn't stop me from pausing to photograph these silent old grain silos in Saskatchewan when the Northern Lights made one more appearance...

I'm just tired of saying "amazing shot" under your post, as it's too obvious... so only one question: is this the same place as appeared always in Daveks' sunset posts? Does "Saskatchewan" mean something? ;)

Yes, it's the same place, and it's a mythical land. Only true believers can go there - you have to close your eyes and chant "sask-atch-e-wan" as you drive across the Manitoba/Alberta border.

Nice. We have been unlucky with the solar minimum and clouds this past 6 months . Hopefully we can have a few good showing this winter. Cool barn.
