DEK Photography: The Thing
In preparation for this year's winter, here's one of my favorite photos from last year.

I know you wonder what the shiny thing is - everyone, who has seen this photo asked the very same question. The photo was taken on the city's main street, at dusk, and the light is coming from a lamp, covered in snow.
Alternatively, if the above explanation is too boring, this may also be an alien artifact, which has just fallen from the sky. But that's not the official version, so don't pay much attention to it. Or maybe you should. No, you really shouldn't. Some guys in black suits told us it was a lamp, covered in snow, so that's the version we're sticking to.

I think the lamp is a plot to take pictures of inquisitive people.
You know, there are probably a hundred of them... which had me imagine a hundred people squatting in a line, looking down at the shiny thing under the snow :D
