Batten Bay Trip by @dedarknes

Looking across from The Barbican you will see the Mount Batten.

Batten Bay is a small beach just below Mountbatten Point. The beach is sand and shingle with many rock pools.

The beach is a 5 minute walk from the nearest car park.

There are pleasant walks around Mountbatten Point, along the breakwater and up to Mountbatten Tower.

The weather was rather good, perfect for such a short trip. On this beach there are a lot of stones. Together with my son, we built the castle:)

The nearest and rather the only place to eat something is Hotel Mount Batten Pub.
