Autumn walk along the Rideau Trail...
Went for a walk along the Rideau Trail in Kingston yesterday. Gloomy afternoon with dark clouds looming in the distance. I took a side trail I hadn't been on in years that leads down to the creek but for some reason I got a bad feeling and hadn't seen any other walkers for a while so I thought I would just head back. Always trust your instincts.
This side trail to the creek felt very closed in and unusually quiet and almost creepy so I just left.

What a beautiful place to walk but I agree always trust your instincts. I usually never walk without Hubby but its mainly because I am bound to get lost in the woods on my own. lol

I usually walk where it is pretty open and other walkers are around but this was before a rain storm and it was unusually quiet and creepy that day lol...Luckily I can't get lost here, it is right in the city just around the corner from where I live. I have walked these paths since I was a kid so I am very familiar
