On this day we started out by doing a relatively easy hike to Grassi Lakes. The trailhead is located about 5 minutes driving distance away from Canmore, Alberta (located just outside Banff National Park). Grassi Lakes have such a beautiful turquoise color, it's just gorgeous. While we were there, we heard some unusual dog barking activity off in the distance, and didn't think much of it. After completely the hike, we noticed that the park officials closed the trail due to Bear activity!! I'm glad we were able to complete the hike.
Next stop, Vermillion Lakes area, located minutes from the Banff townsite. Just went by car, snapped a few pictures, just a relaxing short excursion. Shortly after, we headed for Cascade Ponds, also minutes from the Banff townsite. Went for a leisurely walk around, and took in the beautiful scenery. It's a great place for a picnic! Two Jack Lake was just around the corner, so we figured that it would be worthwhile to drop by. That is where we encountered a herd of Big Horned Sheep!! Just moseying around.
I really like this, and the greatest hope in shooting I can have a smartphone like you, last month I was about to buy it, but I lack funds for it. Haha, but I'm sure there will be times when I'll get something I want, thanks mabro @daveks has inspired me
Wow those sheep are impressive, I have Dorper Sheep but no horns!
Beautiful post card shots, I just want to go swimming in those waters.
