I went to Banff on a business trip back in '95 or '96. It really is beautiful up there, and I was amazed at how they were able to manage the massive amounts of snow on the roadways. It is also the only time I've ever skied. Oddly, my ski instructor was a surfer from Australia who had never even seen snow before moving to Banff in his twenties.
Thanks for your comment! The hotel I worked at always had a lot of Aussies and they just loved the snow and were always the first to pick up a shovel to help out, and I tell you they just loved shovelling snow, it was almost comical!
