Here are a few more photos captured last Summer, while on our annual vacation to the Canadian Rockies. This is Two Jack Lake, a beautiful place to stop for a picnic, canoe ride or to camp out for the night (or two). The chances of seeing wildlife wandering around here is nearly 100%.
Have you ever camped in Banff National Park?

Thanks to @papa-pepper for creating these logos for daveks!
If you’re still in the kootenay area check out Cranbrook and Kimberley, also Fischer peak is a wicked climb!
Sounds interesting!

Thanks for looking, just checked out your blog!
Love those guys that hang out at 2 jack :) I like to camp in park...but prefer kananaskis myself. Just me. :) Silly guys blocking traffic.
I haven’t spent all that much time at Kananaskis, but plan to explore it a bit more in the coming years!
I love the far end of the 40. There's a great little campgound that you have to walk in to. They have bear lockers...but it's sooo quiet.
I like quiet.
this is a very nice place @daveks, with views of the lake and wildlife roaming that can entertain the visitors.
It’s a nice place to roam around!
yes, I see in the photo alone already feel what it feels like in this place @daveks.

I love Banff and Jasper and camped in both parks in late 2016. I didn't have any luck with the bighorn sheep though we did see some elk. Great shots in your post!
I bet you got some great captures while camping, I’d love to see them!
You found one of them! Thank you :)
