The Athabasca Falls are rated as being a Class 5 waterfall. The flow is approximately 4,000 cfs (cubic feet per second) on average with a recorded high of 17,000 cfs, I bet that would be very loud!
The gorge and potholes are fascinating and beautiful to observe! I wonder how many years it took them to form?
