I'm not far south of Canada, and the northern lights are not an especially rare sight here. Anywhere in Canada improves your odds, and Saskatchewan is flat like the plains states so anywhere away from city lights should be good, and the further north the better of course.

@daveks i just googled 'the land of the living skies' and whoa!!!! how far north in SAS would i have to go to see the lights?

Once in a while you can see the lights from the mid Saskatchewan area, better further north though @orangeshasta!
