Around the Canadian Rockies in B&W (or Colour?)

in #photography7 years ago

Both photos were captured in Canmore, Alberta, just outside Banff National Park. The area is known as "Policeman's creek", and is a spectacular spot for soaking in the Canadian Rockies! A Sony A7 and Zeiss 55mm lens was used. Which do you prefer, Colour or Black and White?

Both carry different messages... I should say colored for our senses but black and white for meaning and for the soul.

That makes sense to me!
Thanks for your comment

Totally agree with your comment

Wow look so different in B&W pretty nostalgic. Nice photos ! :D

Both versions amazing but I think I like the b&w more. Have you done any Infrared photography?

No I have not, sounds interesting though!
Thanks for looking

I really like the B&W pictures a lot even though in the first picture the colors look really natural and beautiful.

@joalvarez appreciate you coming!

Ahhh Banff National Park is definitely on my list of places to visit one day. I actually prefer the black and white for both pictures - but especially the first one. It kind of minimizes the every day items like buildings and cars and lets you visually focus more on the scenery.

Indeed it does!
Thanks for stopping by
